Pokemon is a game I have played for my whole life, starting with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Basically, you play as a kid who was just sent on their Pokemon journey to complete the Pokedex and become the Champion by defeating 8 gym leaders, the elite four, and the Champion. One of my favorite parts of the game is shiny Pokemon, which are differently colored versions of Pokemon that are very rare. Up until X and Y, there was only a 1 in 8192 chance of finding a shiny, but it was changed to 1 in 4096. I have a few shinies that I've caught and a few that my brother gave to me. In generation V, I have a shiny audino. In generation VII, I have a shiny lopunny, rattata, and roggenrola. In generation VIII, I have a shiny orbeetle. And in the most recent generation, generation IX, I have dachsbun, bisharp, venonat, grafaiai, oinkologne, florges, and floatzel.
I have been unsuccessful in finding multiple shinies, such as growlithe, rockruff, espeon, mareep, and the rarest I've searched for, female combee. There is a 12.5% chance of a combee being female, and about a 0.00024 of a shiny, and only female combee can evolve in vespiqueen.

As you can see, shiny female combees are extremely rare, and if I were to find a shiny, it would probably be a male anyways, but I still hunt for them occasionally because I think it'd be pretty cool to have one. You can also see from this table that newer games have made shiny pokemon easier to find, and some people find issue with that, however, I don't really think this is an issue. They're still rare, just less, and it's a kids game.
